I said I’d transcribe some more Vulfpeck in 2023, and I’m staying true to that!
I put flatwounds on my Stingray recently, and it’s just perfect for the Joe Dart tone. A friend recommended the Ernie Ball Group III strings as sitting somewhere between typical flats and round in terms of tone. They still have some bite, but they’re also punchy and warm too. I’m a convert!
